Margaret Christie indexes, copyedits and proofreads to support her oboe habit. She has played in various orchestras, chamber groups and scratch bands in and around Edinburgh.

Her HappenStance pamphlet, The Oboist’s Bedside Book, was shortlisted for the Callum Macdonald Award in 2008.
