The Body in the Wellgregory leadbetter can turn his hand to a thing or two. Formerly an environmental lawyer, he has worked in TV production, written TV drama and is currently researching Samuel Taylor Coleridge. In the middle of all this, the poems insist on being heard. They are strange, haunting and beautifully complete. You can read them - not understand them - and yet something in you understands them. They communicate through words but also beyond words. But that's poetry, isn't it?
